Poverty in the United States |
|
Many people in our country suddenly find themselves living in poverty due to natural disasters. PUSH 4 Change will provide aid to victims of natural disasters that occur in the United States. Our mission is to grant aid to those, especially low income families, that have been displaced by natural disasters such as hurricanes, tornados or fires. Many survivors of Hurricane Katrina/Rita are still out of homes and looking for work. A disproportionate amount are living in poverty. A portion of the year-end funds will be given to Habitat for Humanity for Hurricane Katrina/Rita victims. |
